summary:-
I never believed that I
would have to live through a zombie apocalypse. One day I was Ed Kirk, a
normal sixteen-year-old boy with a loving family, a beautiful
girlfriend, and a full life ahead of me.
Now I'm on the run from zombies, being hunted by a dark force that threatens my very existence, all the while trying to escape this town and find help. Oh, yeah, one more thing:
I'm a zombie too!

MY
REVIEW
Zombies, hmm, when I first started
reading the book, I expected nothing else that chasing, some action, one
person who is very powerful, just chasing, killings and blah-blah. I thought
there was nothing else that can be done with the topic like zombies and
vampires which either have 1 variety or is used it the same way over and over
again, or the other. My mind and outlook
was so narrow about this topic, may be because the recent movies with different
names and almost same story made it that way, my expectations were 0. So i
started reading in that perspective. By as I kept on going further, i was
surprised, shocked, and moved in every way possible. Unlike other “so much
similar” movies, this book was very different. While reading I went through a
mixture of emotions, first of all shock, then sad moments, romantic moments, and
the moments when you have to make THE hardest choice in your entire life time
and most importantly keep pushing even when there is very less hope.
I won’t deny the fact that there
was no chasing, human flesh eating zombies, and a little(not so little) bloodshed,
but the point that there are so many
questions that would arise while reading the book overshadows all the other
common stuff. Why is Ed still a half zombie? Who was this HE that wanted
him? Mostly it showed how the life of a
teenager would be affected when everything he knew around him was gone, which I
think most people neglected. I would say it was “the best” zombie book I ever
read!
I would rate it: 4.5/5 points
and 5 flowers!!
